Which college is better for B.Tech CSE in terms of academics and placement: LPU or SRM, Chennai?

SRM University, Kathankullanthur campus. Other campuses are not so good in terms of placements. If you not get admission in the main campus of SRM. Then go for LPU.

Both are good, But, in case of placement, LPU is better, and has good rank all over India.

LPU is the best engineering college in Punjab for CSE. Lately, number of admissions in CSE department have been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants. It focuses on the basic elements of computer programming and networking. Well, the study of CSE in LPU is very good. CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. Most of our students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies. Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. Professors are easily approachable in the college and are well experienced.

Hello, Lovely Professional University is best in terms of placements as compared to others. For any college in India, placements are a fundamental factor to consider. Hello, Without any second thought, I can say it's LPU. This university is great in both aspects I. e study and placements in fact it is providing more opportunities to students than any other University. B.Tech in LPU is an Engineering programme which seamlessly articulates the concepts from basic Science to technology with relevant practice through lab and projects for building the problem solving skills, keeping industry requirements in place. Students will develop competence in areas like programming, Database Management Systems, Networks and Security, Operating Systems, Cloud Computing etc. Industry Immersion To enable the students to keep pace with changing technological advances, the university has industrial tie-ups with various industries. Studying these courses as a part of the curriculum would provide a WILD CARD entry to industry. Companies like Bosch, Cisco, Dell, intell come for campus recruitment.

Hi Rakshit, Every university is doing its efforts according to their abilities. In my opinion, you should opt for B.Tech CSE in LPU because the staff is well qualified and most of them are Ph. This. The curriculum is built keeping in mind the current technology trends. LPU offers different specializations namely IOT, Data Science, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Full Stack Web Development, Big Data, and many more. The placements at LPU are excellent. Moreover, they give you the option to choose your pathway elective as well that whether you want a corporate Job or Research or Government Job. The preparation for placements starts from the very first year. Many top recruiters visit the LPU campus to employ graduates, such as Amazon, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Capgemini, Bosch, TCS, and several other firms. Recently, a girl got placed at a package of 42 LPA. Moreover, Amazon recruited LPU students with 28 LPA. More than 650 companies visit LPU every year for recruitment with an average package of 4-10 LPA. Every year visiting companies escalate in number and till date, the university has recorded the highest placements in North India. Rakshit, I believe the decision to opt for the university should depend upon various parameters such as eligibility, curriculum, fee and scholarship, exposure, pedagogy and placements. Every college is trying to provide best from its side. First you should SEE the recognition of the institution at various levels. After that, what are the eligibility norms and what all fees and scholarship is applicable. As per your question, I believe both colleges are among the top colleges of India. LPU is renowned private university with more than 30,000 students and experienced faculty from various institutes. As per my view, LPU has an edge in terms of curriculum, exposures, and placements. Talking in terms of fees, the fees of the institutes are higher now-a-days but LPU offers the chance to get higher scholarships and that too for all semesters. LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every eligible students to secure good placement. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of our students. Several big brands of the industry have visited LPU campus during academic sessions. Students are also provided with on job trainings, industrial exposures inculcating in them modern management skills. One feedback which I received from my friends is that LPU is very strict in terms of classes, assignments and there is no compromise on discipline which I am not pretty sure about the other institute.
