Which college is better for B.Tech CSE in terms of academics and placement: LPU or SRM, Chennai?

Both of these universities are among the top universities of India. They both are well established affiliated as well as renowned for their excellence in education. First of all, when we talk about Lovely Professional University it is very affordable and even people from the middle-class background can get education here at a feasible amount. One can achieve up to 50 % scholarship here based upon their previous qualification degree or even by the Scholarship Exam, which is LPU-NEST. Training outer exposure, education, as well as placements, are good at LPU. It completely depends upon the caliber and interest of the student how he uses the platform available to them. However, when we talk about SRM fees very high approximately 5 L per annum and the facilities provided by them is all-same as every other private university provides. Hence, it is completely up to you how much you want to spend getting the same amount of facilities.

Both are among top colleges of India. But, fee in SRM is very high 4.48 L per annum. Whereas in LPU, you will get scholarship according to your merit. So, I suggest you to go to LPU. All the best.

For B.Tech CSE you can go from LPU, as it provides quality education as well as placements also. University provides with enough opportunities to each and every student and it's up to the students to grab it. All I can say is LPU brings in lot more companies (approximately. 450+) and the average package revolves around INR. 5 to INR. 6 Lacs per annum. It is up to you how you prepare yourself for the placements and stand out from the herd. Recently 3 students of LPU got placed in Amazon at a package of INR. 28 LPA. Hi Rakshit, I have observed very less about SRM Chennai but still I know enough of SRM Chennai. My conclusion is that LPU is step ahead. Both are private institutions and both are putting a lot of efforts but LPU Is really a step ahead, what if it is; 1. Curriculum, 2. Highly Qualified faculty members, 3. Industrial tie-ups, 4. Technology and Exposure, 5. Diversity, 6. Support to Entrepreneurs, 7. Good Placements. Compare yourself and take wise decision. All the best for your future.

LPU is the largest university in terms of student’s intake and offer scholarships on the basis of percentage in qualifying examination. They also provide placement to students with good salary packages. Good Infrastructure with above average teaching faculty from IIT. If you are searching for an exposure than LPU is the best choice. In my two years, I have incurred immense knowledge and LPU made me adept at embracing culturally and technical situations and harness my engineering knowledge. CSE placements are also in quite increasing rate compared to previous years. Apart from this SRM is also very good university with one of the top rank in our India.
