Both courses are good at their place, it depends on your interest, which you prefer most. After BCA, you have to do MCA also. And, after B.Tech it is your choice you want to do it or not it's all depend on you.

Both have equal importance, and thereby you should pursue the course which excites you. If you have planned higher studies, then choose BCA without thinking much. For example, you will be eligible for pursuing a Ph.D. within 5 years (3 years BCA+2 years MCA with the BCA option. As for B.Tech, you will have to spend a minimum of 6 years, and only after that, you can look forward to pursuing Ph.D. But, if we discuss the knowledge an aspirant would garner throughout the tenure of the course, then undoubtedly B.Tech gets all the votes. BCA only provides knowledge about a few programming languages, but if you look closely at the course mate...more

B.Tech CSE is better to go for if you want both theoretical and practical approach, while BCA is much about knowing your subjects theoretically more and more. B.Tech CSE has a broader approach and can provide you with better job prospects.

Of course B.Tech has much more scope as it is an engineering degree while BCA is a professional degree in Computer application. The minimum eligibility required is 60% for B.Tech. For more information kindly visit university website, or call on toll free number Tel: +91-1824-404404.

As per minimum marks is concerned so first of all it totally depends upon you that from which college you want to target that means "private" or "government" colleges. Because both have certain percentage or cutoff criteria for taking admission in their respective colleges. But atleast you should try to get abov...more -
Hello, BCA is a 3 years and B.Tech. Is 4 years graduation course. But B.Tech is undoubtedly better than BCA. In B.Tech you will learn more and advance as well. B.Tech will provide you more opportunities in MNCs. By BCA you can't be a software developer but after B.Tech you will join any company as a System Engineer/Software developer. B.Tech will provide you more package as well. So go for B.Tech undoubtedly. Thanks.

Hello!
BCA makes you adept at the application level of computers whereas B.Tech makes you proficient at the 'technical' level (Software, Hardware, applications etc. ). All it depends upon your interest. While BCA gives students a good technology knowledge, it is advisable to complete your MCA to give yourself career wise push. After graduation, a student with a B.Tech degree has greater job opportunities than a student with a BCA. I would advise you to go for B.Tech for complete learning and better industry options. B.Tech will be for 4 years and leads to immediate employability while BCA is three year course but requires MCA at the en...more
