Obviously, B.Tech has a good scope, and it is the one which is a recognized degree.

B.Tech has more scope as compared to BCA. B.Tech is a 4 years course and BCA is a 3 years. You need to have at least 60% in your class 12th with Science stream. While, if you want to get admission in BCA, you need to have at least 45% in class 12th from any stream. This is the main advantage of people choosing BCA as their career. Student from any stream can get admission.

HiIf you have decided to become a soft ware engineer I would suggest B.Tech which requires minimum 60% in XIIth and 80 percentile in JEEMains or you can give the entrance exam conducted by the university. Check the efficiency scale,

    3. Faculty is not only experienced but is updated
    4. Industry immersion
    5. Labs are well-equipped with the latest technology

BCA or B.Tech are two different streams, likewise as an NITian, I would suggest you to go for B.Tech, here you get much opportunities. While after doing BCA, you have to prepare for bank and clerk exams. So go for B.Tech, minimum marks criteria are depending on whether you are going for private or government colleges otherwise, you should have atleast 75% marks. All the best.

Of course, B.Tech gives you more opportunity than BCA but you have to pursue B.Tech from a reputed college. Otherwise, it will give you nothing. You just have to get minimum 50% marks in higher secondary. In short B.Tech has more scope than BCA although go through this link
