Which course is good BCA or B.Tech? Which has more scope? What are the minimum marks required to get admission?
I want to become a software engineer

B.Tech has a better scope than BCA. This is because the curriculum of B.Tech is designed such as to provide an equal pace of theoretical and practical knowledge instead of giving the course a monotonous approach.
Good luck. -
B.Tech has more scope and minimum percentage required is 60 % in LPU. Refer the website www.lpu.in for more details.

I personally feel that every field has its own scope provided you have a passion to do it from a right institute. Right institute means the institute whose focus is on providing good curriculum, opportunities and finally good placements. If I mention outrightly the private universities, the list is quite long but again you have to identify the institutions with recognitions and awards or in one word the prestigious institution. Considering the placements, LPU is outperforming like anything.
You can target that university. But you can enquire about others as well but do keep the parameters in your mind. If you are interested in B.Tech,...more -
BCA makes you adept at the application level of computers whereas B.Tech makes you proficient at the technical level (Software, Hardware, applications etc. ). It depends upon your interest. After BCA for a better career one should for MCA also but in case of B.Tech. You can immediately look forward to the jobs in the industry. Well here I am detailing the eligibility criteria for both the programmes:-
BCA- Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent. B.Tech. - Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST or In case student scored more t...more -
It all depends on your choice as every course has its own orientation. B.Tech. Is a four-year undergraduate programme; BCA is a three-year undergraduate programme. BCA makes you adept at the application level of computers whereas B.Tech makes you proficient at the 'technical' level (Software, Hardware, applications etc. ). While BCA gives students a good technology knowledge, it is advisable to complete your MCA to give yourself career wise push. After graduation, a student with a B.Tech degree has greater job opportunities (I believe) than a student with a BCA. Addressing to your query, I wish to inform you that the eligibility norms...more

Yes, this field is considered hard. It is complex and demands high precision. There can be extreme consequences for minor errors. The overall field is extremely challenging as it requires to apply the basic scientific principles to design and develop rockets. It requires sophisticated engineering with careful material selection, and allows narrow margin for error.
The following are the qualification which can help you to become a rocket scientist:
· Bachelor's Degree such as B.Tech/B.E can take up to four years to complete.
· You can do a two years Master's Degree M.Tech/M.E./M.S. after graduation.
· For advanced level study in this field, you can also do Ph.D and Research.
Well, becoming a rocket scientist is a long-term commitment, and it depends on your education path and goals It takes almost 5 to 6 years with a bachelor's and 8 to 12 years if you want to study higher. Here below is how long it usually takes:
- Bachelor's degree: You have to study aeronautical engineering, aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or physics. This usually takes almost 4 years.
 - Master's degree: this is almost optional, but it will help you specialise in rocket science, propulsion or space technology. This usually takes 2 years more.
 - PhD: this is optional for a research job; if you want to do high-level research, then it

Can you please confirm what you mean by “2027 mock test” — do you mean:
- BPSC 2027 Mock Test Series (for your upcoming exam prep)?
 - Or a general mock test for 2027 government exams (like UPSC, SSC, Banking, etc.)?
 - Or are you referring to a specific subject/year 2027 question paper mock (e.g., “BPSC 2027 Prelims Mock Test”)?
