Which course is good BCA or B.Tech? Which has more scope? What are the minimum marks required to get admission?
I want to become a software engineer

Hello,In terms of scope of B.Tech will be more beneficial.
If you want to take admission in LPU then you need to give its entrance examination test, if you have not given it then you can also get admission through your class 12th boards for JEE Mains. If that to your rank is not up to the mark then you can also get admission through management quota. -
Both the courses are good. Jobs opportunities are more in B.Tech. For taking admission in any course you need to check its eligibility criteria to be qualified. Minimum 50-60% is required. For B.Tech it is 60%. For further information you can visit Lovely Professional University Website or call on Tel: +91-1824-404404
Thanks ! -
B.Tech is good as in this you will study more subjects and do the practice. Just need 60+% in 10th and +2 to get admission in any good college.

B.Tech has far better scope. You can apply for various positions, if you are a B.Tech in CSE. You can be a full time developer, if coding is your cup of tea.

5 years agoB.Tech has a brighter scope. Firstly, try to score a minimum of 75% in PCM and simultaneously, prepare for JEE exam in order to get admission in good colleges. -
See, BCA is an application based professional course and B.Tech is also an application based professional course. But the basic difference in their scope is the width of field. If you choose BCA, you will go for core programming, languages, software, etc. This will be your future for job if you choose BCA. For B.Tech there are so many branches in India, you can choose from your interest. And you have more option here. In my suggestion before choosing any, know well about its syllabus. And minimum percentage 60.
Best of luck. -
B.Tech has more scope than BCA, as B.Tech will give a greater amount of exposure both on education as well as future employment basis. And the requirements for B.Tech varies from college to college or even from state to state. So you can shortlist the colleges that you seek admission too and then can find minimum requirements for that college.

Can you please confirm what you mean by “2027 mock test” — do you mean:
- BPSC 2027 Mock Test Series (for your upcoming exam prep)?
 - Or a general mock test for 2027 government exams (like UPSC, SSC, Banking, etc.)?
 - Or are you referring to a specific subject/year 2027 question paper mock (e.g., “BPSC 2027 Prelims Mock Test”)?
