All the branches of engineering are good.It depend on your interest. But there are more opportunities in IT these days as compared to Petroleum Engineering.Petroleum Engineering has limited scope whereas IT has vast scope in every field & in every city.So I will suggest Computer Science but again It depend on yout interest. So decide carefully keeping in mind your interest.

hi dipanshu both the branches are good but it depends upon your interest if you are much interested in mechanics and physics then petroleum may prove good for you but on other end if you are not interested in physics then CSE is the best branch as it comprises of physics and other subject only in 1st year and then after that it's just all about computer and programming. By the way for petroleum UPES is the best college and for CSE IIIT Hyderabad is well known.

Hello dear, you should judge your interest and drive your career by passion and ambition. Excellence is the way to success. The subject in which you feel that u can excel would b demanding for u. Anyways it can be said that the circumference of job circle is more in cse than petroleum. petroleum stream also hv a ample of scope in job, research and innovation. Judge your interest and dive. Try to get a good college. All the best. Thank you

Both of them are better in their point of respect. It is totally depend on us in which field should we have to be in. If u are more interested in coding, solving algorithms computer science is best and if u want to do something different from league petroleam branch is best.
