Every branch n technologies have their own scope, its upto u how you justify ur studies during that course like by taking CS branch you have many options in IT industry. If you make urself good in coding part then u can have job in devolpment side like PHP,JAVA, ANDRIOD developers or either you can go for with less coding technologies SOFTWARE TESTING, DOT NET+WEB DESIGNING , SEO OR DIGITAL MARKETING. Obviously both branches are demanding b/c petroleum is found in very rare college like some other branches Aeronautical, Automobile, Marine eng. So its on you for what u ve interested. -
