Which is a better option among pursuing B.Tech in computer science from LPU and pursuing BCA from VIT?

I would recommend you to pursue BCA first and if it's from VIT-Vellore then no doubt you should go for it because it's the best option for you.

First of all, both the things are different. First, you should clear your thoughts that what you really want to pursue i.e, either BCA or B.Tech. VIT is better in placement and infrastructure for engineering streams. So, if you want to pursue engineering you can go for VIT.

If you are pursuing BCA, then you have to go for MCA as well. So, better option is to go for B.Tech.

Hi, Both are good University and both are good courses to do. But, I'll suggest you to go for B.Tech for VIT as B.Tech has more value than BCA.

LPU is the best engineering college in Punjab for CSE. Lately, number of admissions in CSE department has been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants. It focuses on the basic elements of computer programming and networking. I am saying this because my younger brother has already completed B.Tech CSE from Lovely Professional University and currently he is working with amazon. His experience at LPU was amazing. He has discussed placements, exposure, academics etc. Honestly speaking, the quality of education provided at any of the universities in India has been standardized by the autonomous body called University Grants Commission (UGC). It is just a matter of public opinion that sometimes condemns a university while over-hyping another. Of course, few other factors, such as the universities intake of good candidates and the output of taught, trained, and efficient candidates who get successful placements during the course of the past couple of years, matter, of course, but lets get to that a while later. In regards to the stream concentric study of Computer Science Engineering (CSE) at Lovely Professional University, it is undoubtedly a very good idea. The faculty at the CSE department of LPU is just as qualified as any of the popular universities and institutes of India that offer this discipline names I don't even need to say! It has produced perfectly efficient computer engineers in the past couple of years who have eventually landed salary packages as high as 42 LPA! Over the past couple of years, the department has seen a rise in the number of students taking admission in the stream. Due to this, the competition between students within the department has increased, and this has indirectly improved the overall performances of the batch as a whole. Without mentioning unrealistic figures, I am going to say that the students graduating from the CSE branch at LPU get placed more often than any other department from the same university. Not everyone gets placements in a core company, but they will get placed in companies functioning in various other fields. Around 550+ companies visit every year for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU. Companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Dell, Dainkin, HCL, Bosch, Samsung are visiting campus for recruitment. CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. Most students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies.

BCA makes you adept at the application level of computers whereas B.Tech makes you proficient at the technical level (Software, Hardware, applications etc. ). It depends upon your interest.
