Which is better for B.Tech in CSE: LPU or JECRC?

I MET one of the alumni of B.Tech CSE of LPU who appreciated the efforts of the university and the faculty in achieving the heights. The curriculum have been designed primarily to suit the needs of the students who aspire to be the future engineers, managers or entrepreneurs. LPU helps in developing analytical, communication and decision making skills of students which are considered to be an important. Keeping in view the employment potential, in-depth knowledge is provided to the students through department electives in computer networks, artificial intelligence, databases and information systems as well as computer programming and algorithms. In addition to this, Students are exposed too the fields like cloud computing, IoT, data Science, Machine Learning, Big Data and many more LPU has a stellar record in the placements as more than 600n companies have visited LPU to recruit students at good packages. Companies such as Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Amazon, Cognizant Technology Solutions, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Amdocs, Capgemini, Verizon, SAP Labs, Hitachi Power, Videocon, L&T Technology Services, Ericsson, HCL Technologies, Asahi India, Ceasefire Industries, Sandhar Technologies, Indus tower, Decathlon Sports, Exide Industries, Emami, Eye-Q Vision, ITC Limited, Janalakshmai Financial Services, Kelloggs, MRF, Naukri, Moodys Analytics, WNS Global, Writer Corporation, Nivesh Group, OCWEN Financial, Practo etc. Have visited to recruit the students at good packages.

Dear Student, I am pursing Ph.D. Computer Science from Lovely Professional University, I keep on visiting the campus and is in regular with faculty members. Also, I have once visited JECRC, for one of my research paper. I will share my experience regarding both the universities. While looking for admission in any university, there are few parameters to be noted down and then you can compare accordingly. First parameter should be Curriculum: Since I am a LPU student, I am well worse with their curriculum, LPU follows updated syllabus and keeps on revising it as per the student and industry needs. JECRC follows a set pattern and abides by it completely. Next important factor to be considered is well-equipped Labs, let me tell you honestly, this is my first reason to choose LPU for my research part, as they have well-equipped labs with completely the latest technology so you need to worry about your projects and research. JECRC on the other hand has limited resources in this case. Next factor to be counted upon is Placement, for you. Since the day I am attached with LPU, I found every now and then there are placement drives being conducted and students are being prepared day and night for the same. I cant say anything on the placement parameter of JECRC, for that you can refer their website. Next factor is Faculty involved, Most of the faculty at LPU are Ph.D. and many of them are from renowned universities such as IIT, IIM and even abroad. My own Ph.D. mentor is an alumnus of IIT Guwahati and holds few patents and has a list of research papers published by him. At JECRC, I found faculty members were good but not as capable as of LPU. Another factor to be looked after is Recognitions, which can directly be compared from their respective websites. In this parameter also, LPU takes a lead. Now, regarding Internships, one of the important factor again for graduation student, As per my knowledge, Summer trainings, full-term optional / compulsory internships, On-the-job trainings, study tours, and skill enhancement events and workshops are extensively integrated in LPU curriculum. They expose students to real work environments and provide an opportunity to apply their learning in real life situations. So if we conclude on the overall parameters, LPU has an edge over JECRC. But still, I would advise you to visit their websites in detail and speak to the admission counselors.

Ashish ! you can compare the ranks of both of these universities and can find that Lovely Professional University is better than JECRC.Moreover Lovely Professional University provides an assured placements along with infrastructure for the research and project works making you to excel excellence. in my opinion ,it should be preferred.

Hello! I have done my Engineering from LPU and today I am a proud alumnus of LPU. I am not so aware about JECRC, so I won't be able to comment on same. But I will share my experience, I hope it helps. Engineering at LPU is a complete and perfect blend of learning and fun. I remember my days of engineering at LPU, how I use to rush for 9 am class and spend hours on my assignments. Engineering is a blend and balance of book learning and practical learning. LPU creates the content in such a way that learning becomes easier for the students. Faculty members are so experienced that they are able to sense how much we have grabbed in his class. University provides all the resources and techniques to make learning easier and also at the same time prepare the students keep to cope up with the corporate world. LPU provides you with all the facilities required to be a good engineer. I had a splendid experience with the faculty members, placement mentor and officers. Infrastructure: University has well-equipped labs with all the latest technologies for learning and development. Double Storey Central Library, equipped with computer labs and all the required books and curiculam, open for students till mid night 12. Not just this all the facilities in university is worth appreciating. The quality of the facilities provided in our hostel was top notch. The quality of food available in the mess and canteen were great. Medical facilities provided were splendid. Infrastructure is good. All resources are available. College provide Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library. Faculty: Teachers were qualified. They have a good knowledge of the courses they teach. They are very helpful and supportive. Quality of teaching provided is top quality. The teachers are really very supportive. Course curriculum is structured perfectly. It makes the students industry ready. Placements: In my batch I remember, almost 95% students were placed and there were many who got the multiple package as well. The highest package was around 42 Lacs per annum. All the students were trained professionally from their first year onwards. The University provides maximum opportunities to students. It depends upon the students whether they want to grab the opportunity or not. Most students who do not have backlogs or reappears gets placed. Students who were not so good in academics, they were enrolled in more PEP classes to help them in placement. I hope this helps. Good Luck !

For B.Tech in CSE, LPU is the best option. It is a hub for CSE placement. For more details, you can visit the website of LPU. You can also opt for Chandigarh University. It is a good option to pursue B.Tech in CSE or IT.

Infrastructure: Writing bout infrastructure of LPU is not even required, whole world is in awe including the IITs, IIMs and NITs.Diversity: LPU attracts a diverse set of students and faculty from all across India as well as more than 70 countries. This gives a unique exposure to cross cultural ecosystem.Centre for Professional Enhancement: This center in itself is most unique feature of LPU, takes care of soft skills, professional ethics, sensibilities, mentorship etc. For the students right form the first semester. Always go for institute that provides good education along with assured placements.although both of these colleges are doing exceptionally well but it is suggested to go for institute that provides good infrastructure as it will help you in providing excellent platform to boost your skills. i have heard a lot about Lovely Professional University about its ranking,recognisation, international tie-ups,placements. This year IT giant CTS set a record for selecting highest number of students from this university. hope it helps!
