LPU is BEST. Its a college with diverse culture, amazing infrastructure and super ambience. It provides a ocean full of opportunities to explore yourself. Right from the course or branch learning to extra co curricular activities, it is rich in all. It has a very large campus and has a mall and a hospital in the campus. Coming to the education part, it has got good qualified teachers. The course flow of syllabus is well planned with time to time assessments and exams. The university has got an online portal for University Management System ; which is a center for all the queries and information. Practicing the paperless system everythi

JECRC is a duplicate smart copy of lovely in compared to infrastructure. I have visited last year JECRC, Vidhani Village-Jaipur. For participating in fine Art event, I was in LPU contingent. We should not compare both private university, because LPU is a the largest and international level university and JECRC is new University ahead of LPU. If we see the placement records I got news from eminent newspapers LPU recorded the highest Placement even in a day in North India in technical side. I cannot say so much about JECRC, but overall LPU is best.

    Hello Ashish,
The choice lies with you only. But you should be aware that JECRC is not a University it is rather under RTU. In fact, LPU is putting more efforts than some of the NITs or even young IITs. Here I just want to tell you about the value additions, where it might be possible that LPU is putting more efforts to make you Industry ready product. First of all the difference is in the specializations. LPU offers large number of industry specific specializations, highly coveted Computer Science Engineering along with the function specific ones, while JECRC might make it happen for you.Course curriculum : LPU has developed and upgra

    Dear Students,
LPU has better scope. LPU’s eligibility for B.Tech in CS is pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English).
JEE Mains is a national level entrance exam which every engineering student appears to get into a good and reputed university. But due to Covid-19, the dates of the same are not announced. *As I know, Lovely Professional University (LPU) is conducting LPU NEST for admission purpose. LPU NEST is a MCQ based online test that is having No Negative, The entrance exam test pattern is usually based on the previous subjects. *LPU offers Scholarships to meritorious students on the basis o

Both of them are extremely good. But LPU has an edge with over 600 regular recruiters out of which more than 60 offer more than 10 lacs per annum and also offering good positions. Moreover LPU's fee is almost half that of JECRC and even in the already reasonable fee structure if offers generous scholarships upto 50% of course fee. So LPU it is. Hope this helps.

Hi there,

Yes, LPU conducted LPUNEST entrance test for its various programmes. However, it depends upon in which stream you want to take admission. For many UG/PG programmes such as btech, B.Sc agriculture, law, management etc. test is mandatory for both admission and scholarship purpose. For some other courses such as computer application, BBA, hotel management, Bsc IT,   commerce,   arts etc. test is only for scholarship purpose .

I hope this helps,

Thank you.

Both Chandigarh University (CU) and Lovely Professional University (LPU) are known for engineering, but if we think of Electrical Engineering, LPU appears better in many ways. As a student, I personally feel that LPU has a very practical approach to learning. Their labs are state of the art, and well-resourced, and I find that the faculty usually support us to work on real-time projects, which build confidence to take on challenges in industry. The university brings many industry professionals for guest lecturers, and have affiliations with top companies in the world, so this gives students a greater opportunity for internships and pla

Seat allotment during the LPU NEST counselling effectively takes place based on your merit (exam) rank, as well as the preferences you fill to course/specialisations while you log in to the portal for admissions after your results are out. After you log in to the counselling portal after the results go out, you need to honestly fill your choices of course/specialization. LPU will then look for which rank you are in the merit list, check availabilities, and allocate seats accordingly based on your previously chosen course/specialization seats and rank. The seat allotment process of counseling purely works on merit, so the students who s
