If you are an IAS aspirant it's better to choose BA. Most of the guys will say this but first choose where your interest is because any graduate can appear for civil service examination. If you are interested in B.Tech then do it. You must know the current situation of engineers about B.Sc, it is good but very high competition in job because B.Sc guys will not be able to qualify for technical jobs. So ask yourself what you want to do in this 3year or 4 year. Just check regularly your status progress towards IAS officer.
