If you love science, do B.Sc or go for BA in social sciences as most of the successful IAS exam clearing students opt for social sciences as most of the part of history and geography is covered in it. Also, start preparing for GK and current affairs and solve maths and reasoning questions.

You can go for any graduation course. There are many coaching centers which can help you in ias preparation. As you are a Science student it's better you should go for B.Sc or B.Tech rather than BA. For the preparation, you have to take coaching or maybe, self-studies can also help you.

I think, if you want to become IAS, then you should go with BA with political Science honours.

If you want to prepare for IAS, then BA will be a better option. Subjects like economics, geography and history will be taught in BA and will also be useful for cracking IAS.

You must be cleared about this , that graduation syllabus from any stream will help you in UPSC exams. But many of the students opt arts for graduation because this helps to crack UPSC exams easily. So I recommend you to choose B.A.
