If you have not appeared in any of these above mentioned entrance exam you need to sit for the LPUNEST entrance exam conducted by LPU alongwith interview and you can get admission only if you qualify in both.

No it is not compulsory to appear in CAT, MAT etc for MBA.
The eligibility of the course is: 55% marks in Bachelors degree (any discipline) + Interview*Interview will be conducted to check the communication skills, general knowledge, fluency, critical thought etc. It is mandatory to get atleast 50% to take admission.
To take admission you should clear the eligibility norms and you can also plan to appear in LPUNEST to fetch scholarship.

    Hi,
For admissions 2020, there is a relaxation in the eligibility criteria due to the prevailing situation - COVID19.
CAT, MAT, and XAT test is not mandatory but you need to clear the interview subject to the eligibility condition. However, you can give LPUNEST for availing the scholarship. The last date of admission is 31-5-2020 to avail the maximum scholarship.

Being very frank I don't have much knowledge about this so I will advise you to contact directly to the LPU administration office for this. You can find helpline number on internet and then you can enquire further to them.

    Hey dear,
For MBA in tourism and hospitality, there is no specified percentile though the minimum criteria is 60 percent for getting admissions in LPU in every respective stream.
If you have a better percentile in undergraduate with good co-curricular background and no character default, you will get a very good scholarship.
For placements, it depends upon you. While talking about the scenario, there are many companies visiting recruiting the students from MBA with a good package.
For hospitality and tourism, Oyo, Make My Trip, Go Ibibo and many other companies visited and recruited the candidates. Thank you.

Where ever you apply for MBA in India you have to give these exams. But in case of LPU, you have two choices either you give these CAT, XAT or there is another exam which is conducted by LPU i.e LPUNEST for MBA.
But you must have 60% and above in graduation for good start. There is also some scholarships given by LPU on your graduation mark basis.
    All the best!!

With a 300 SC category rank in CAT, your chances for NIT Trichy MBA are relatively high. Based on 2025 data, NIT Trichy generally shortlists SC candidates with CAT percentiles around 60-65. To achieve a 300 rank under SC category, you would need about a 65-70 percentile, or a score of roughly 60-65 marks out of 198 in CAT 2025, depending on difficulty and normalization process. Final selection is also based on interview, academics, and work experience. Yes, you are fairly within touch, but I would encourage you to have a solid overall profile as well to increase your chances of admission.
