Is it compulsory to give CAT, MAT and XAT tests for admission in MBA hospitality and tourism in LPU?

As per my perspective, I do not think so there is any compulsion to give CAT, MAT, and XAT tests for admission in MBA hospitality and tourism at LPU, but LPU has eligibility criteria that you have to fulfill for getting admission in LPU. These are the eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) Pass with 55% aggregate marks in bachelor's degree (any discipline) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST or CAT or MAT or XAT or NMAT or CMAT and Interview.

You can appear for LPUNEST and qualify it for admission. However, LPU does consider CAT MAT XAT score valid for admission. At LPU, the MBA in hospitality and tourism management programme is meant for the students looking for a leadership role in the tourism and hospitality industry. The course focuses on the development of language skills for academic writing: the language of analysis, evaluation, discussion, description, and reflection. This course explores the geography of the culinary world with particular reference to the origins and diffusion of the worlds major staples and their relationships with regional cuisines and tourist sites. Topics include the relationship between tourism, food, and wine, political, social, economic contexts of food production; assess foods and food-related events that have an impact on tourism. This course introduces various departments of hotels and resorts, their functions, the contribution of each department in the hotel business, internal management of hospitality, work culture, style, profiles, and opportunities. Introduction to tourism destinations worldwide and their geography, introduction to basics of computer software and hardware, IT, internet and networking with special reference to online reservation software and their application in Tourism and hospitality industry is also given. Accounting and group behaviour is also taught. The NIRF ranking of LPU in the management programs is 37. 6 LPA was the highest salary package 3.2 is the average salary package. The university has a tie-up with over 700 companies that come for campus placements.
