Is it compulsory to give CAT, MAT and XAT tests for admission in MBA hospitality and tourism in LPU?

    Dear Tanya,
    For MBA tourism and hospitality, you need to be pass with 50% aggregate marks in Bachelor’s degree (any discipline) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST, CAT, XAT, MAT or CMAT and interview or completed company secretary (CS) from Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) or Completed Chartered Accountancy (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) or Completed Cost & Management Accountancy (CMA) from Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI).     No, but you need to give LPUNEST exam in order to take admission for MBA in LPU. Good luck.

    Dear student,
    It is not necessary to give CAT, MAT, XAT provided you have qualified LPUNEST. However, if you have already qualified CAT, MAT, XAT then you will be exempted from LPUNEST.

    Hi Tanya,
    Hope you are doing well by the way, you can get direct admission in LPU without CAT, MAT and XAT tests I would advise you to apply for LPU NEST (National Entrance & Scholarship Test) it's much easier that way plus it has more scholarship chances but without it also you can take the admission the Eligibility criteria for applying MBA is 50% aggregate in any Bachelors degree. Since you have met the criteria you can go for direct admission.

    No it's not compulsory. You can get admission directly through your graduation marks or by LPUNEST.
    As you have scored 72% you can get direct admission through your graduation percentage.

    Yes, it is mandatory to qualify ANY NATIONAL LEVEL EXAM for getting admission in aforementioned programme.
    For your reference I am quoting the eligibility condition of MBA (Tourism and Hospitality) at LPU:
    Pass with 55% aggregate marks in Bachelors degree (any discipline) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST or CAT or MAT or XAT or NMAT or CMAT and Interview
    Or

    First of all if we talk about the eligibility then you should have minimum 55% in graduation plus interview. Second The MBA from LPU have so much worth. PU is one of the best Place for MBA. You can take admission in MBA as per the eligibility criteria and the eligibility of MBA in LPU as per the admissions 2020 is Pass with 55% aggregate marks in Bachelors degree (any discipline) or equivalent and Interview. In Lovely Professional University. MBA programme comes under Mittal School of Business which is among the first 10 institutions in India to get ACBSP (USA) accreditation.     Dear Student,
    No, its not necessary that you have to appear in the mentioned exams in order to take admission in LPU MBA Program.
    In case you have not appeared in these exam you need to QUALIFY LPU-NEST EXAM and will become eligible for admission (after clearing Interview).
    Additionally, you can also avail scholarship based on your performance in LPU-NEST Exam.
