For admission to an MBA at LPU, one needs to qualify for LPUNEST and should have at least a 55% score in graduation. After qualifying for LPUNEST you need to appear for an interview. The candidate can get an exemption from LPUNEST subject to qualifying CAT, MAT, XAT, NMAT or CMAT.

It is not compulsory to take exams like CAT, MAT, or XAT for admission to the MBA in Hospitality and Tourism program at Lovely Professional University (LPU). Candidates can gain admission through multiple pathways, and the university offers flexibility in its selection process. Applicants must have a minimum of 55% in their undergraduate degree in any discipline from a recognized institution. While national-level entrance exams such as CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, NMAT, or CUET-PG are accepted, students who have not appeared for any of these can opt to take LPU's own entrance test, LPUNEST. Admission is granted based on performance in LPUNEST

No, taking the CAT, MAT, or XAT is not required in order to get admitted to Lovely Professional University's (LPU) MBA program in hospitality and tourism. This concentration is one of several admissions tracks that LPU provides for its MBA programs.

LPU offers its own admission exam, LPUNEST (Lovely Professional University National admission and Scholarship Test), for MBA candidates who have not taken national management entrance tests like CAT, MAT, or XAT. Based on their results, students might be eligible for admission and scholarships through LPUNEST, which doubles as an entrance exam and a scholarship examination.

No, it is not compulsory to appear for CAT, MAT, or XAT for admission to the MBA in Hospitality and Tourism at LPU. Admission can be granted based on LPUNEST (Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test) or through qualifying exam marks.

However, if a candidate has a valid score in CAT, MAT, XAT, or any other national-level management entrance exam, they may be exempted from LPUNEST. Additionally, LPUNEST can also help students secure scholarships.

Therefore, while national-level tests are not mandatory, they can be beneficial for exemptions and competitive advantages in admissions.
