If you are interested to train yourself for pre-school then eligibility is Class XII with 50% aggregate. Teachers with diplomas in education / Bachelors in education teach the primary classes. Graduates of Home Science also serve the purpose.
For B.Ed Degrees after graduation and post-graduation you may opt for teacher's training colleges. You may even consider correspondence courses for teachers if you are currently working.

If you are interested in journalism and want to pursue UG then I would suggest you to go with BMM. Reason being Mass Comm / Media is a very vast domain and offers a lot such as Advertising, production, direction, cinematography etc. and YES Journalism is also a part of it. And to be honest, there are very few institutes offering a specialized course in Journalism at UG level.
As a friend, I would suggest you to go with BMM and explore the dynamic Media industry so that you can get to know other career options that are available other than Journalism.
