Hi Ajit,
A Statement of Purpose (SOP) is also known as "Personal Statement" , " Statement of Interests" or "Statement of Goals and Objectives" among students.
The Admission Committee looks for what does this essay tell me about the person who wrote it?As a student you have to show a desire to learn. From your books and teachers, from your classmates, from music or art, and from life itself.
