Hi Kaushiki, Poor is a subjective word! So I am not in the position of judging how good or bad is your marks! Anyway, for BMS BBA course one must have Maths or Business Maths in 10+2 level. And in that paper one has to get min. 55% or 60%. If you get more than that particular cut off marks which is subject to change, you can apply. The rest can be recovered by doing good in the admission test. All the best.

IIT IIIT and NIT, are government colleges and have their own identity. Also, the students who get admission in these colleges do not to worry about the job (it does't depend only on college but also yourself that how much you have talent, skill). The environment is also good in colleges and one will grasp more knowledge here. In common, IIT, IIIT and NIT, are just the tag that one wants to get after class 12th. Also, the placements are very good in these colleges. Dear Subhajit, Not really needed to have completed a Bachelors degree to acquire an MBA in Hospitality Management. But yes experience is very important. Your experience in the field gives you the option to study more based on what you have experienced. You can show your future institution the work experience and get enrolled for a Masters Degree. For people, I have met in the industry don't have a Bachelor's degree but have acquired a master's degree based on their experience. So yes if not a Bachelor's degree, the experience can definitely fetch you a Masters degree.

To get into IIM, you need to write CAT exam. After CAT, if you get the eligible percentile to get into IIM then you have to face a personal interview in any of the prescribed IIM from your choice based on the marks. Sometimes, even you get 100 percentile in CAT, you may not get an IIM, all you need to do is maintain sounding academic background with good communication skills. This would certainly help in shortlisting you.

Hi Ankita, Economics is not mandatory. Geography (Hons) can be done by students passing 10+2 preferably with Geography as one of the subjects in 10+2 if you are seeking admission for the honours course. The criteria vary from college to college.
