Although, both the fields are vast and both are good but would depend on your own interests and career aspiration. If you are planning to pursue a career in industries like, Automotive, Automobile, Aerospace, Manufacturing of heavy vehicles, and spare parts, Aeronautical etc. then you should opt for Mechanical. Whereas Electronics and Communication is the field which includes fields like computer or other electrical fields which include small-scale electronic systems including integrated circuits, like microchip designing, with ECE one also can get into, PLC, Embedded Systems, VLSI designing etc. ECE deals only with a specifi

Hi Khaleel,
One option is that after completing your B.Tech you can start working with some good IT company earn few years of work experience, say around 5-7 years and then take a sabbatical of one year and do EMBA, another option is that if you want to devote your career completely to technology, go ahead and to M.Tech. One last option could be that you complete your B.Tech and go for MBA. First and third option both lead you to a management career ultimately whereas second option is purely to get into technology field. So keeping in mind your own interests and career aspiration, choose one of the options.
Hope this resolves your query.
