The faculty is good I would say as our professors are very knowledgeable regarding in their area. Research is very much promoted . We have highly advanced machines in our Material Research Center. The infrastructure is also good. The mess food is average.

This will not impact your eligibility to attend placement interviews. The reason for the loss of 2 years will be asked during the personal interview rounds in companies What I would suggest you is to provide a crisp and honest answer to the question if asked.
