The professional B Tech program consists of theoretical concepts and practical experience. The first two semesters are common across all branches and then the students move on to do their area of specialization.
B Tech in Information Technology deals with subjects like Programming languages, Digital and Analog electronics, DBMS (database management systems, networking and telecommunications.
Scope: Most students after completing their 10 +2 in science stream opt for engineering as their preferred career. Good quality engineers are always in great demand in the fast growing Indian economy and IT industry.
Job Prospects: IT and Computer Engineers who have completed their B Tech program are not only in great demand in IT industries but in sectors like banks, airlines, and manufacturing industry. India is the main outsourcing hub for international projects from the US or the UK.
Good quality computer engineers are therefore recruited in great numbers by multi-national companies both in India and abroad. You can get jobs as graduate engineer trainee, junior software engineers/programmers and software trainee engineers. B.Tech students with good academic records may also get hired as research analysts.
Bsc CS
The B.Sc (CS) course mainly focuses on the mathematical and theoretical foundations of computing, rather than teaching specific technologies that may quickly become outdated. The course prepares you for higher education.
Although people prefer to enhance their skills by pursuing higher education, companies hire B.SC (CS) students for the post of software testers, software developers in various IT companies.
You can pursue courses like M.Sc(CS) or MCA After Bsc(CS)
Btech cs is of 4 years and Bsc cs is of 3 years.

one more point Btech cs student can directly opt for admission in Mtech where as Bsc cs student havt to do Msc cs or MCA for doing Mtech.

Eligibility
Minimum three years Bachelor’s degree in any discipline recognized by the AICTE / UGC / Association of Indian Universities are eligible for the program. Candidates appearing for the final year Bachelor’s or equivalent degree examination are also eligible to apply, provided they complete all the requirements for the qualifying examination by 30th September 2012. Eligibility for SC/ST candidates will be same as specified by the AICTE.
Selection Process
1. Candidates seeking admission to KBS Khandala will have to appear in any of the mentioned test- CAT/XAT/MAT/ATMA/Mh-Cet. While applying for the mentioned test candidates have to mark KBS Khandala as one of the college to which the applicant’s score should be sent.
2. Apply to KBS by filling in a separate application form for registration. Application form can be obtained from Admission office in Mumbai or at Institute in Khandala against a fee to be tendered by way of DD of Rs.500/-, in favour of “Kohinoor Business School & Center for Management Research” payable at Mumbai.
3. For On-Line application, visit www.kohinoor.ac.in and follow the procedure. A registration fee by way of the Demand Draft of Rs.500/- made in favour of “Kohinoor Business School & Center for Management Research” payable at Mumbai is needed at the time of submission.
Please note that KBS Khandala uses CAT/XAT score for short-listing the candidates for its two year full time PGDM program. IIMs/XLRI has no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of the program.
