Yes, you can take admission into NITs and IITs after doing graduation but not for undergraduate courses. You can enroll for any post graduate courses after clearing the respective exams.

Practically speaking there is absolutely no difference between these two degrees. Some Institutions award B Tech while on the other hand other Institutions and universities award BE. Be assured that there is no difference.

Alpha College of Engineering is a decent college for doing engineering. It is a better one among the colleges affiliated to Anna University.
The placements and the training are also good. You can opt for it if you don't find a better one than this in terms of education and placements.
