For doing PG in aeronautical engineering, you need to have obtained a degree in the same branch. Also, for the entrance exam, you need to clear paper related to Aeronautical engineering branch. But if I may ask, why change from ECE? I feel this too is a great branch with lots of opportunities.

You are not eligible to get admission into NITs as it is for only those who have clear 10+2.
The admission is based on JEE main scores, which is for students who completed 10+2 pattern only.

You can find its application I construction and civil engineering and relate to it accordingly while applying to colleges.
