Yes, mechanical is good in this college because there are two branches for mechanical one is manufacture engineering and other is welding engineering. There are many teams in this college like go kart and other ones they won national level awards. For placement this college is not so good. This college is situated in a very rural area. For mechanical engineering this college is good but for placement this college is not so good. The first JEE Mains batch of 2014 will pass out next year so may be placement will become good from the next year.

I fully understand and appreciate your dreams and wishes. But unfortunately IT study needs more than 90% marks for admission. Hence, you will have to really think of something else or seek admission in private colleges through management quota. Many colleges I some states are giving admission for science degree holders.
