Well, it's quite a nice college for engineering. According to the official website the package ranges from 3.6 to 6 LPA. Companies like capegimini, Tata consultancy, Bajaj motors, TCS, Infosys have visited the campus. Also, the highest package has gone to 11 Lacs as per the students of the college. VITM Indore is not same as SIU. SIU is a decade old deemed to be university where colleges are more than 25 to 30 years old and reputed.
SUAS Indore is of the same Symbiosis society which owns SIU, but it is a JV with a German institute. It had its first batch last year which'll graduate in 2020. Only then we will see.

No, it's not possible to change the branch in engineering as Computer Science after completion of Diploma in Electrical Engineering. Candidates who have studied Diploma in Computer Science or Diploma in Information Technology (3 years duration) are only eligible to apply for BE or B.Tech in Computer Science course. We can study BE or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering after completion of Diploma in Electrical Engineering. The admission to the course will be done through a lateral entry entrance examination.
