Bachelor's Preparatory Programme is offered by IGNOU to those students who wish to do Bachelor's Degree but do not have the essential qualifications of having passed 10+2. In the absence of such a qualifying certificate these students are deprived of higher education. To enable such students to enter higher education stream IGNOU has designed this programme. There is no minimum qualification for this and the student should be above 18 years. After completion of this course, the student can pursue graduation from the same univ'y.The NIOS senior secondary exam is equivalent to the regular +2 exam and there are various combinations available. Those who have completed +2 in NIOS are entitled to apply for any graduation course including engg any where in the country.

Mass Comm. and Fashion designing are two varied fields, although you can opt for one of these two degrees and second you can pursue by doing some short term certificate course, but I would say that while deciding upon any course you should keep one thing in mind which is very important that is your own interests and career aspirations, If you feel that fashion designing is a field you want to pursue a career in go for a degree programme in FD and do some short term Media related course & Visa Versa.
It would not be possible to do two degree programme through full time University and since both are vocational programme there wont be any Institutes giving such courses through correspondence.

Hi Selvaraj. Isn't it too early to send your daughter to MBBS coaching? I know there is huge competition , but you should wait till she completes her 10th. If her aim is to become a doctor, then ask her to do the following before sending her to regular coaching.
1. Let her study the text books thoroughly.with out restricting to the notes given in the class
2. Ask her to concentrate more on physics and organic chemistry as they are the deciding factors for Bio students.
3. Give her the learning material of different boards and let her read them too and solve the problems so that she gets the hang of various curricula.
If this happens, then by the time she finishes her 10th her basics will be strongy grounded and she can pick at a rapid pace from there and reach her goal
