First of all I would suggest you to always mention the complete name of the Institute as there are many Institutes by the same abbreviation and it becomes really difficult to guide you in such a condition.

Hi,
There are advantages of studying abroad and there are dis advantages. The biggest disadvantage is the kind of investment involved which is in millions of rupees. On the other hand, the biggest advantage is the kind of exposure and multicultural environment that you study in.
I would say it is a very individualistic decision. Understand all the pros and cons of pursuing a MS abroad. Also, consider your best options in India and try to compare them with the universities abroad and see which option is more feasible for you.

Hi Raghuram,
I would say rather than try for M.Tech after doing MCA you should try for M.Phil or PhD if you are interested in pursuing further education. There are two major reasons for that, first is that MCA is mostly for the commerce students who have math till 12th, so if an MCA students move to M.Tech programme which is a very technical degree & involves subjects like Math, Electronics, Physics and Chemistry etc. It would be very difficult to cop up with other Science background students. Secondly, there are not many Institutes which will take MCA students for their M.Tech Programme.
