MIT Arts, Commerce and Science College and Alliance School of Business are equally good. Some of the important points while selecting an institute - Accreditation of the institute, institute's infrastructure, teaching faculty, specialization offered, past placements records., tuition fees, city preference and industry interface. As both the institutes are having the campus in Bangalore and Pune. Industry exposure is good for students in either of the college. My friends are in this college from 1 year and they aren’t facing any issue. They are living in hostel and not facing any difficulty. Also, the college premises are good and support staff is also very good. Good friendly environment between student and professor. Overall it's an excellent college for any courses it offers. Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Pune is a good university to study and it has good placement record. Placements also depend upon the location of your college as they treat each of their colleges separately in terms of placement cell. However, it is deemed university, but it is one of the top universities of India. In respect of law and management universities, Bharati Vidyapeeth, already, has its head up. For engineering, the placement records are good. During the recession period all around the world, their placement records got affected but that time it was happening all across the globe. In that period also this university has made i

Both institutes are premiere B-Schools of India. NMIMS is much known for marketing and JBIMS much known for finance. But MBA/MMS in any discipline from either institute is good. Both institutes are in Mumbai and industry exposure for students is good in both the institutes. Placements wise JBIMS has a slight edge (placement wise every major financial service company, major banks do come for placements with sought-after profiles. You might not get investment trading desk directly as compared to A, B, and C of the IIMs ) over NMIMS. With regards to admissions perspective, both the institutes have a very high cut-off in CAT. When you talk about MIT Arts, Commerce and Science, you should know that it has a beautiful campus. It's new so definitely not at par with the MIT in Kothrud. Placements, all MIT campuses have common placement. You won't get much of competition there as you'll get in other campuses. I would still suggest that you should keep other options open. I would suggest that you go for Indira College of Commerce because this institution has an association with renowned IT companies like Microsoft, Wipro, Quick heal, Mentor, etc., to enable its students to know the practical aspects of their overall personality.

Hi,
There shouldn't be any doubt regarding why you should choose JBIMS over Indira School of Business Studies. I will give you the exact reasons why JBIMS is one of the most sought after B-school in the country.
Locational Advantage: Being situated in the financial capital of India coupled with its 50+ years long tie-ups with the industry, JBIMS enjoys hosting guest lectures from stalwarts of the business world on regular basis. The experiences and insights that they share can be matched by very few institutions.
JBIMS Tag: The brand value of JBIMS is strong. Just like you would prefer buying a TV from a recognized brand like LG, Samsung

To be honest, both IES MCRC and MET are good colleges in their respective ways. So, as far as the decision is concerned, just go with the area of specialisation you would want to pursue further and then compare the colleges. As far as IES MCRC is concerned, they provide various ways to excel i.e. they provide us with lots of live projects for each specialisation and also has best faculty members to guide throughout, not only that we have industry mentors who would guide us through the industry of your choice. Apart from that we have sum fun learning sessions and also too many guest lectures and this help us to improve the our networkin

At any B school, there is so much to do but you don't have the time for everything. It is very important to know your priorities. And this need not be same for everyone. For some sports is important, some like to read etc. While you have to ensure you spend time on academics every day it is also important you pursue your interests. Prior preparation for classes, attending classes regularly, listening attentively helps to save a lot of time during exams, quizzes etc. Do not try to procrastinate works which will end up burdening you in the end. Do not get influenced by what your friends are doing because they might have different priorit

Different people have different kinds of regrets as they have different problems. Some of the regrets are about not keeping in better touch with the section-mates after graduating. Those two years really form lasting connections. When I see my former classmates now, it is amazing how instantly they reconnect with the same closeness. And this is independent of the varied levels of success in business we all achieved. So, talk to your batchmates, develop bonds, they will last longer than you think.

I don't believe in such stereotypes, courses are not gender based. The scope of the MBA in HR is a totally demanding career. As you know, HR is the most crucial part of any organisation/company. Another most important factor which determine your growth is the university or college you are pursuing MBA. As LPU alumni, I would recommend MBA from LPU as they have variety of industry oriented courses. LPU is known for its MBA. LPU provides quality education, with great scholarship programs plus holistic learning opportunities. Mittal School of Business is among the first 10 institutions in India to get ACBSP (USA) accreditation, Mittal sch

MBA's are overrated in India as in today's scenario we can see that field of MBA is attracting most of the youth irrespective of their capabilities to perform like an MBA. This may be due to the reason that this course offers opportunities to meet different people and secondly most important that it offers high packages. We see MBA's not only from commerce background but from science, arts too.
They don't know the real role of MBA. India being a developing economy, with huge market potential and career opportunities booming, there is definitely high demand for MBA graduates, but MBA is not for everybody. Moreover, adding to it if someon

Let me explain this question with an example:
Last time my colleagues and I were given an annual target, it was modest net profit figure of 60 times our base salaries and most of us accomplished it. Though this could be considered as one off case as targets for people working in corporate banking averages 40~90 times the base salary in top banks. The loan sizes people deal with are more than Rs. 50 Crores and considering huge loan size the numbers can be achieved. Even excluding corporate banking profiles, IIM and top 20 B School graduates are given multifold targets and the industry expects the same to be achievable. There is no pompou

We need managers who genuinely understand markets, their relationship to the public sector, and the philosophical, cultural, and social meanings of business growing global influence. We need leaders who fully grasp that markets, while highly efficient, are not fair, kind, or wise. The current market price, while efficient, is not essentially just it can, in fact, be rather cruel. For example, when a large retail chain comes to a town, pushing small businesses to close. We need leaders who are ready to face the trials of growing income inequality, unemployment, environmental influence, and cultural homogenization that modern business pr
