If you are unable to clear management entrance examination and still want to pursue MBA then you should either take a year drop or settle with average dropping a year has little risk. The higher your CGPI is, it shows how thorough and regular you are within your coursework. If two candidates tie during an interview, the interviewer will definitely choose the one with a higher CGPI. It is the skills that you possess which matters but at times, having good CGPI helps. Some companies measure the candidate's potential in terms of college performance which in turn gets measured in terms of CGPI. So do not ignore it and study hard. To achieve a good CGPI is important. CGPI is the Cumulative Grade Point Index and each subject plays its part. So focus on all the subjects. Do not neglect any one of the subjects. The placemen

Hi,
It would be wrong to generalize students' inclinations towards pursuing an MBA to one particular reason as the underlying reasons could vary greatly from individual to individual, depending upon a large number of factors. Some of the most common and popular reasons for students opting for an MBA are:
-interest towards business studies and a business based career subsequently
-better roles and/or designations at their work places with superior quality of work
-this followed by better remuneration packages and timely ownership options with the corporation
-ambition of joining family businesses or starting up on their own after acquiring

First of all, IIMs have a rigorous procedure for admitting students. This consists of a personal interview. In this interview they make sure that only the people who are genuinely interested in field are admitted. They look for leaders and doers and make sure they get in.
So most of students are really brilliant and have a spark in them. Then the curriculum of IIMs is also really rigorously. This prepares students to do anything, whether working at a top management position or starting their own company.
IIMs have a practical and industry based curriculum which helps students to get insights into the working of industry. Apart from it II

Hi,
There are two sides to this argument, both having their own valid reasons.
Research based jobs in India are certainly less lucrative and require long term commitment to have a decent chance of arriving at quality results. This requires a lot of patience and strong orientation towards the field based on which research is being carried out.
On the other side, the corporate world offers multiple opportunities to MBAs across industries, in cross-vertical roles and as you have mentioned, pays impressive remuneration packages as well. For someone who just wishes to make a lot of money by his mid 20s itself, MBA from a top institute certai

I think KIIT University is good for its engineering course but not for BBA. So you can go for IMS, Noida. But see after all it is just a BBA degree so don't expect much from it. You will have to go for MBA after doing BBA from anywhere. The process to attempt for MBA/ CAT/ IIM is as follows. Be open about applications. Do not give the only CAT, even if you are very good academically. An above-average student must give CAT, XAT, IIFT, NMAT and SNAP. An average and below average student must give MAT and CMAT also. Remember, you are not only investing your money but also your time and efforts. Better try for IP University or Delhi Univer

Hello!
Well, according to me, going to the college and pursuing degree is best and effective than online or distance education. In distance education, you can't learn as effective as college goers. In distance education, it keeps on going as per the syllabus, and if you encounter any doubt, you need to write it down and send them and wait until they reply. If you are learning through a video, you have to rewind the video again and again and watch the concept carefully until and unless you understand the concept. Now, the first and foremost thing is, about the placements in long distance education? In colleges, there will be some placeme

Anil Surendra Modi School of Commerce, 5 years old offering the courses in management and managed by companies Educomp Solutions and Raffles Education Corp., Singapore.
The college is situated at a prime location in the heart of Mumbai. The faculty is great at what they're doing and remains up to date with the industry happenings and brings all that information to class regularly. The approach is to apply the learnings in the practical world by picking up a company and covering all aspects of the topics covered.
So, I hope Anil Surendra Modi School of Commerce would be the best for BBA.

The Madras Christian College (MCC) is far better than KIIT for BBA. Here are few reasons for this:
1. The Madras Christian College (MCC) is a liberal arts and sciences college in Madras. The college was established in 1837 which is one of the oldest colleges in Asia so there must be some reason that's why this college is running since last two centuries.
2. Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) department at Madras Christian College is ranked among the top BBA departments across India.
3. Being amid the flora and fauna, the campus is an experience in itself with 365 acres of nature cover. Also, one can get to interact and become frie

My opinion says that you should go to SRM University for BBA. SRM University is known to provide higher education in management as well as other studies. They have experienced staff in the management department they also provide placements by training the students in enhancing leadership quality. Recruiters repeatedly come in SRM campus so it is good to continue BBA in SRM University. But SJES College is an old college and did a remarkable job for students. This college is known for its unique specialization at graduation level. They do have BBA in aviation management, sports management or many more. So, my suggestion is that considers

For sure you have to go with Wisdom Faculty of Management Studies, Banasthali University. From my point of view, don't expect much from your undergraduate degree. For success you must to be at least post-graduate. Actually Undergraduate courses cannot be measured upon their ability to provide jobs. However, Banasthali doesn't have much placement opportunities but if you are really talented and have required knowledge and skills as seemed by the companies you will get placed.
There are various companies which regularly visit campus for recruitment but students generally refuse to sit for interviews because of their decision of pursuing h

Hi,
We have to compare both colleges. What makes the IBS-Hyderabad unique is it's culture. IBS follows case study methodology in the footsteps Harvard Business School. 1st-year students get to deal with real-world cases carefully designed the IBSCDC which is Asia Pacific's the largest repository of business management case studies. 2nd-year students get to study the cases straight from Harvard Business School itself. This allows students to get accustomed with the real world implication of the subjects that are taught in the course curriculum. In addition, there are 32 student activity clubs specializing in different verticals which ke
