Hi Sumit, after diploma you may opt for lateral entry scheme which enables you to take admission directly in the second year of degree course.
Eligibility Criteria :
Candidates with a diploma in engineering can apply for the course. The diploma holders should have scored a minimum aggregate pass mark as per the university rules.
The lateral entry examination has many advantages :
*The students selected for the course can directly get admitted for the second year classes.
*The candidate can save one year through this scheme and need not study the basic subjects that they have studied earlier.
*The candidate will gain familiarity with the subjects and this helps them to understand and study the subject with ease and interest.

After graduation, you may opt for M.Tech or MBA. Pursuing M.Tech helps an aspirant to gain detailed technical knowledge about a particular discipline in Science and can further continue their studies in doctoral level.
You may even opt for MBA, although, it is an entirely different field, when compared with B.Tech., but many B.Tech graduates prefer post graduation in Business Administration for growth and the career opportunities prevailing in the sector.

There are many foreign languages that one can opt for depending on the preference. Learn any language but the fact remains that the difficulty would depend on your understanding and capabilities. All foreign languages have their importance and learning any would provide you advantage in your desired industry.

Embedded systems and Robotics are two different technology path and can be pursued by mechanical, electronics and computer science engineers. Both are part of curriculum in B.Tech/M.Tech. Doing a certification course in any of them or both of them will not change your status and you will be destined to be a technician as diploma holder. Therefore, my suggestions is take admission in B.Tech. through lateral entry scheme to gain admission to directly in 2nd year in any private or government engineering college. After B.Tech. your status will be of an engineer. During 3rd year you do minor & major projects in robotics or embedded system to gain knowledge in the field.
