Dear Student,
Though much depends on your own interest, but still going by the market if your college is not an IIT / IIIT or some top ranked NIT / BITS, etc. , then it is advisable to opt for CSE, as ultimately from a low profile college you will get a job in IT company whether you are from CSE or Mech.
Though some small firms do visit campuses but they don't offer much salary to mech. students and thereby students of mech engg. too join IT companies in large numbers.
So talking package wise, mechanical has decent scope and sometimes better than CSE but only if your colege is highly reputed and some very good companies like Maruti visit

Hi Ghanshyam,
To get into any good institute to pursue LLB on the basis of your graduation, the minimum percentage (aggregate) required is about 50% and qualifying the entrance.
Although there are options available in various institutes where in you can apply for the improvement exam in a particular subject and based on which your aggregate can improve but this may vary and not necessarily be a provision available with every college.
I would suggest you to contact your college to inquire about the similar provisions, if any.
