Well the Institute is recognized by AICTE, DTE and Government of Maharashtra. The Institute is affiliated to University of Pune and seems to be a fine option to go for your engineering course. Dear Ravindra,
Why are you underestimating yourrself?
Although IGNOU course is distance learning you are graduate. TCS needs full time graduate at entry level but I think at experience level they accept any graduate
My one friend had completed B.Sc. IT from Sikkim Manipal under distance learning mode and their quality of education is worst. However my friend continued focussing in his own development and now working with IBM
So why are you bothering, please go ahead and apply wherever you want

Hi,
There are many institutes in Maharashtra which accept admissions to engineering through CAP. Although it would not be possible for us to provide you with the entire list of such institutes but then you can look up for all the engineering colleges which comes under DTE but then most of the institutes which would come under University of Pune for the engineering course would accept admissions based on CAP.
The admissions through CAP also take place in the various autonomous institutes as well.

First you need to clear through SCJP level and then only you can apply for further levels of Sun Certifications viz. Sun Certified Web Developer, Architect, etc.
For SCWD, the next level after SCJP, you will need to learn JSP & Servlets.

Firstly it is advised to go for the regular mode of study instead of the correspondence mode of education if you are looking ahead to qualify the NET exams as the preference is given to the candidates with regular mode of study.
Both the Kurukshetra University and Punjab University are good and well recognized Universities and you may opt for either of the two for your Masters course and to know more about the two Universities and the courses it offers its advised that you contact the two directly.
