B.Sc in Interior Design Admission Process
* Shortlisting colleges is the first step.
* You can get the admission form from the college websites or can collect the same from the campus.
* Details of the entrance exam such as fees, exam center and passing marks will be received from the college.
* Colleges put up a cut-off list after the entrance exams results are out. Those who manage to end up on the list may have to go through a counselling round before being given a seat.

Comparing aeronautical and mechanical, mechanical seems to be better, the reason being that the mechanical engineers have vast options available in front of them because their degree is general in nature, and applicable to all types of industries that use machines. The scope of aeronautical engineering is limited to some specific industries.
Some students also go for mechanical during undergraduate and the specialize in aeronautics in the masters. So that may be a good option.

You will not be able to get IMU-Kolkata with this rank, nor IMU-Mumbai. Even IMU Visakhapatnam won't take you with this rank. IMU Kolkata sees a cut off rank 500-600 in general category. I have no idea, if there is a girls' quota kind of thing here. However, you will get 50% waiver in fee, being a girl cadet. IMU has stopped 50% fee waiver to girls for batches 2017 onward.

If she is looking for other branches of engineering, she can avail the seats through management quota since her ranking in CET is not in the range of previous year's ranking.
