I think, B.Tech will give you the most of the job opportunities. As After Doing B.Sc. You will be able to go for Research institutes, Teaching Profession, Civil Services, Defence, etc. But after B.Tech, You can give all of these exams and also all the Engineering level exams for which B.Sc. Candidates are not eligible like IES TIFR, Entrance exams for ISRO, Banking, GATE and more.

B.Tech deals with more of engineering aspects, whereas B.Sc. Is more of research-oriented. Besides, B.Tech comprises more of a Maths in comparison to B.Sc. In terms of job prospects, student having B.Tech degree is more open to the various careers. On the other hand, B.Sc. Students are more adhere to the laboratory or teaching domain. Though B.Tech has more of its placements but even research has its own rewards in the form of monetary and success!

Yes, there is no age limit to pursue your studies. Age is just a number, and no one could stop your interest. But, it would be a bit hard, if you choose to join by giving entrance examinations.

If you have the right skills and passion, background will not be a problem. If you are interested in programming, then MBA is not the right place for you. MBA will teach you to manage IT projects or to be a B.A. It will not teach you to code. You learn programming languages if your goal is to become software developer. You are already a B.Com so I guess instead of switching to programming now, you can do MBA and manage projects, All the best!
