As My sister has completed her graduation from LPU itself. So let me share some of the her experience, An Engineering programme which seamlessly articulates the concepts from basic Science to technology with relevant practice through lab and projects for building the problem solving skills, keeping industry requirements in place. Students will develop competence in areas like programming, Database Management Systems, Networks and Security, Operating Systems, Cloud Computing etc. B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering is related with algorithms, computation, programming languages, programme design, computer hardware, computer software etc. It is a comprehensive course in computer systems and applications. The students who pursue the course of Computer Science Engineering are taught about design, the implementation as well as management of computer software and hardware. Eligibility Details :Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Mathematics and English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. (5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants).
1 Placements :Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft in 2020. DURING PANDEMIC THE PLACEMENT 2020-2021
Work India has offered 35 Lacs Per annum (CSE)
2. Accreditation : Every year, more than 30,000 students graduate from LPU across all disciplines. Accredited by most technical bodies such as UGC, NCTE, PCI, IAP, COA, BCI, and AIU, LPU has covered massive ground since being founded back in 2005. Already amongst the top private colleges students keep on their checklist, the potential for LPU to grow further seems apparent.
3. Faculty: LPU composed of the best faculty members from IIM, IITs and the other best B schools. It has produced perfectly efficient computer engineers in the past couple of years who have eventually landed salary packages as high as 42 LPA!

You are not eligible to join engineering graduation degree after 10, as minimum eligibility for engineering graduation degree is 10+2 with PCM subjects. You are eligible to seek admission in Diploma in Engineering after 10th from polytechnics.
The Diploma in Engineering is a skill oriented three year programs after 10th class to provide students with industry or job related engineering knowledge, scientific skills, computing & analysis, mathematical techniques, a sound knowledge of English to communicate in the field and ability to apply problem solving techniques. Those who have done 10+2 with PCM can seek lateral entry admission in second year of Diploma in engineering . Student can specialize in the field of Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Chemical, Civil, Metallurgy , Computer Science etc.
After successful completion of Diploma in Engineering course, students can either continue further Engineering studies by lateral entry admission in second year of BTech or take up entry level jobs in engineering organisation. Diploma holders gets employment as technicians, technologists, supervisors, superintendents, foremen, machinist, workshop technicians, draughtsman, .etc. Diploma in Engineering can do AMIE Section A and B to become graduate engineer for career growth.
