Yes, it is possible to get admission in B.Ed without D.Ed as the education qualification needed for B.Ed is to pass degree in any subject with at least percentage mentioned as per the Institute or college you want to pursue from. So D.Ed is not required to do B.Ed. And most probably you would definitely have a degree as you are a lecturer, so it is very easy for you to do B.Ed. There are certain institutes in every district for the teachers and lecturers to do D.Ed B.Ed. M.Ed as per their convenience.

Hi,It totally depends on your interest that in which college you are more comfortable and interested. Both the colleges are good, still you can prefer CUSAT due to more opportunities at the time of placement. Only low paying IT companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys visit IEM Kolkata, while you might get more opportunities at CUSAT. Best of luck.
