You are eligible to apply though you will require a higher IELTS band. A 6.5 and above is required for Masters degree applicants. Visit the university websites for specific requirements though. If an university requires a 6.5 they will not consider anything below 6 considering the stringent admission procedures. If you are aiming for the TU universities consider taking the GRE. The minimum eligibility for doing an undergraduate program B.Tech in computer engineering is +2 science with physics, chemistry and maths. The selection is generally made on the basis of entrance tests like, IITJEE, AIEEE, BITSAT, JEE Mains, etc, conducted at both national and state level. If there are universities that accept candidates on merit basis, the criteria then is minimum 60% marks at higher & senior secondary level (10th & 12th) and minimum 60% aggregate in physics, chemistry & mathematics at senior secondary level.
