There are certain categories of candidates who are exempted from the Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test (TSTET) exam. These include:

1. Candidates who have already qualified the TSTET in previous years and possess a valid TSTET certificate.
2. Candidates who have qualified the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) or any other equivalent national-level teacher eligibility test conducted by the Central Government.
3. Candidates who hold a Bachelor's degree in Education (B.Ed.) or Diploma in Education (D.Ed.) from any recognized institution, as per the eligibility criteria specified by the conducting authority.
4. Candidates who have completed a teacher education program recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) are also exempted.

It is important to note that candidates who are exempted from the TSTET exam still need to meet the other eligibility criteria such as age limit, educational qualification, and other requirements specified by the Telangana State government.

The Telangana State Teachers Eligibility Test Certificate is now valid for a lifetime as the NCTE has extended the validity of the Telangana State Teachers Eligibility Test Certificate for life. The validity period of the Telangana State Teachers Eligibility Test certificates would remain valid for life. The weightage given to the Telangana State Teachers Eligibility Test score is 20 percent in the Teacher Recruitment Tests of Telangana. 

The TSTET certificate is issued to candidates who have qualified in the TSTET exam, which is conducted by the Department of School Education, Telangana. The certificate serves as proof of the candidate's eligibility to teach in schools in Telangana and is required during the recruitment process.

Candidates who have been issued the TSTET certificate can use it to apply for teaching jobs in schools in Telangana for lifetime. It's important to note that the TSTET certificate is not a guarantee of a teaching job, but it is a mandatory requirement for candidates who wish to apply for teaching positions in Telangana.

The TSTET (Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test) exam consists of two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2.

Paper 1 is for candidates who wish to teach classes 1 to 5 in schools in Telangana. It consists of 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), and each question carries one mark. The duration of the exam is 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Paper 2 is for candidates who wish to teach classes 6 to 8 in schools in Telangana. It also consists of 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), and each question carries one mark. The duration of the exam is 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Candidates can appear for both papers if they wish to teach classes 1 to 8 in schools in Telangana. However, they need to fulfill the eligibility criteria and qualify in both papers separately to be eligible for teaching jobs in schools in Telangana.

Clearing the TSTET exam does not guarantee recruitment as a teacher in Telangana. The TSTET exam is a qualifying exam that assesses the eligibility of candidates for teaching positions in Telangana. Candidates who pass the TSTET exam become eligible to apply for teaching positions in various government and private schools in Telangana.

However, being eligible for teaching positions does not guarantee recruitment. Candidates have to apply for teaching positions separately, and the recruitment process is conducted by the respective recruiting authorities. The selection process typically involves a written exam, an interview, and sometimes a demonstration of teaching skills. Age limit:
The minimum age limit for appearing in the TSTET exam is 18 years, and it is advisable to check the official notification for the TSTET exam to know the exact details.

Educational Qualification:
The educational qualification required for the TSTET exam varies depending on the level of teaching for which the candidate is applying. Nationality:
The candidate must be a citizen of India and should meet the local/non-local status requirements as specified by the Telangana State government.
