There is no cut off as such. To be eligible to apply,you should have atleast 50% marks in you graduation and should have appeared for one of CAT,MAT, XAT or CMAT. It is to be noted that only 30% weightage is given to the entrance scores and the rest depends upon how you perform in your GD/PI. To prepare for your GD/PI, be well versed with the present political and business environment of India. All the best

First you have to score above 95%ile to sit for GD/PI Round for IIMs. As IIMs are Best Management institutes in India ( ranked in top 10 ). IIM Ahmedabad is no 1 institute for MBA as per current ranking. For IIM Ahmedabad you have to score 99.9x%ile in CAT. Best of luck !

My suggestion to you is to take CAT exam again and try and give other exams too like:
1. MAT.
2. SNAP.
3. XAT, etc.
But work hard this time. If you can't waste your one more year then you can refer these colleges:
1. Kirloskar Institute of Advanced Management Studies – Pune.
2. Institute for Future Education, Entrepreneurship and Leadership (IFEEL).
3. Thiagarajar School of Management (TSM Madurai).

You require about 65-70 percentile to get a call from SPM. Getting admission in SPM depends on aggregate of CAT + your GD PI performance.

Andhra Pradesh - Integrated Common Entrance Test (APICET) is a state-level MBA entrance examination conducted for admission to various B-schools and MBA colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
Candidates are admitted on the basis of merit list declared by the APSCHE. The list will announced in the month of September. For more information, check the official website of APICET. Application forms will be accepted in Online mode only.
APICET is a paper-based entrance test. Candidates need to attempt 200 questions in 150 minutes. Qualifying marks in APICET - 2015 is 25% and no minimum marks are prescribed for SC/ST candidates.

Its on you about which career choices you prefer. There are good MAT colleges with promising career opportunities but they are very less in number. But if you give CAT along with MAT, you can have many good options for MBA.

To get into top colleges you need to score well. I would suggest you to take the exam again and study hard this time. To get admission into top colleges, you need at least 80 percentile in your exam.
You may look up to other entrances like MAT, SNAP, XAT, etc. as well as it will open doors to more number of colleges. Concentrate more on your preparation with the aim to crack the next with a much higher score.
