If you want to take admission in IIMA then you need to do graduation first with more than 55%. After that you need to clear the MBA entrance exam- CAT and score 99 percentile then only you can get admission in IIMA. But it's good to see your dedication. All the best!

Please clarify if 42.36 are your marks or percentile. If this is your percentile then it may be difficult for you to join XIMB-XUB. As far as other colleges are concerned, there are colleges that may take you in. But I suggest you to wait for XAT scores or you may choose to try again next year and use your experience this year and improve your performance.

Hii Rishabh, CAT percentile is not fixed it varies every year depending upon the cut off and no. of students applying here for admission. last year it was around 70-75% and the selection criteria does not entirely based on your CAT percentile your 10th, 12th and graduation marks will also be counted. and if you have work ex. and any co-curriculum activities that will also add value to your profile and your performance of GD,PI and write up. So, go ahead apply for it and appear for GD,PI. All the best!

Somehow, it is impossible, but some below average private colleges are accepting students to their MBA programmes, without CAT. You may look for the same.
