If you are planning to do higher studies through a full time B-School then you need to have completed your Gradution without which you can not opt for full time MBA or PGDM. However, if you are planning to go for a correspondence programmes you may apply with a diploma, as the correspondence Institutes like IGNOU, do consider Diploma, but with atleast three year or more of work experience. The best option would be that you get a lateral entry in graduation through your Diploma in Mechanical and then plan for your full time MBA.
Hope this will be of help. Feel free to put up more queries. In case your query is resolved please c

It would be a lot difficult for me to provide you the exact fee for the courses mentioned above as the same shall vary differently from one institute to another. To get the details, all I can suggest you is to contact the institute of your choice directly and inquire about the same.

As per my knowledge NIOS is a govt. approved institution which imparts education through the private mode. Even after the completion of your HSC you are still eligible to apply for any course in all the institutes in this country. However, Engineering and Architecture Colleges in India require you to qualify an entrance exam and only on the basis of which the shortlisting and selection takes place.
