Candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1993, shall be eligible for JEE Main 2018. For SC, ST, PWD candidates, the age relaxation of 5 years is applicable. Hope this will be helpful for you.

As your background is of science, it is better to opt for Bachelor's degree in any science subject or B.Tech to get specialised in any stream like Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Civil or any other. B.Tech is more of an application based whereas Bachelors in science will be more theoretical and research based. If you are looking for a good job then B.Tech is a better option.
