You are a brave girl. A relative of mine is a Marine Engineering graduate and he is working in merchant navy (commercial shipping). He is out in the sea almost 6 months a year. Most of the ship's crew are well educated drunks and womanisers from different countries responsible for shipping goods from one corner of the world to the another corner. Prostitutes are in and out of the ship when docked in some countries. It is a high paying job, but unfit for Indian women. I hope my relative's experience is a rare case. But be careful. Get as much information as possible before deciding.

Even a villager cannot survive on Rs 6000 per month. I don't know how you are managing. Do some short term courses in software and try to find a better job. If you can't afford to pay for computer courses, beg or borrow from friends and relatives. But make sure that you get out of this that does not pay you a decent salary and try to get into a well paying one.
