The fee structure of Marine Engineering varies from institute to institute. The amount of fees is as low as Rs. 220000 for the whole course in Indian Maritime University and is as high as Rs. 800000 in the HIMSAR. if u are really good at academics than u should go for telecommunication-----huge scope is there for india. but you got to be confident , ability to struggle for initial few years. MBA through distance learning is suitable and easier for those with many years of work experience. Because they are already have practical knowledge in certain areas of business administration. If you are fresh out of college with a degree, forget about distance learning. Go full-time.

All the branches that you have mentioned provide good career scope and it is not feasible to differentiate it quantitatively. As you aspire to be an engineer so you must be having some natural flair and some inclination & natural expertize for certain type of work. Evaluate this in you and then also based on type of work would you want in your career, select the branch. If you are not in a position to select then try to excel in the one which you get based on your marks in competitive exam. Alos give some prominence to the institute if the option is between a N.I.T or a state college or a private college.

Hi Karan,
Can you put some more light on your educational background as in which stream you are from? However, most of Delhi University Colleges have high percentage cutoff it would be difficult to get admission with compartment, but there are several private colleges in Delhi/NCR like Amity which may offer you conditional admission and once you clear the Compartment they will make the final offer.
