The candidate must have passed the Intermediate/Higher Secondary School Examination (10+2) or an equivalent examination from university/recognized board, securing in the aggregate not less than 50% of the total marks (for SC/ST category candidates - 45% of the total marks).
Have been selected on the basis of Common Law Admission Test (CLAT).
No candidate shall be admitted to the LLM degree course unless he has secured in the aggregate not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade in all papers in the qualifying LLB (Hons.) (five years integrated programme) or LLB (3-years programme) of a recognized university or the candidate must have been selected on the basis of Common Law Admission Test (CLAT).

Entrance Test
Eligible candidates need to appear for the mandatory Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP), common written test for all symbiosis postgraduate institutes.
International students are exempted from SNAP. Candidates of NRI Category, appearing for their graduation in India are required to appear for SNAP on the mandatory basis.
Group Discussion
Shortlisted candidates will be called for group discussion based on the score obtained in SNAP.
PI and Written Ability Test
Shortlisted candidates will be called for group discussion, personal interview and written ability test based on the score obtained in SNAP
Final Selection
Candidates are selected based on SNAP test, writing ability test, and performance in group discussion and personal interview.
Admission for International students is based on merit screening.
