Well the fact is this only that a distance program does not reaps in much profit when compared to the regular courses and also the fact lies that the quality of education provided through regular mode is higher when compared to the distance mode.
As for your education in Computer Science is concerned, well you can look for a Lateral entry to the degree courses i.e. B.tech/ B.E. course and by this you will have to put in 3 years unlike the actual duration of 4 years to attain an engg. degree.

As you are from Commerce background you can go for courses like CA, CWA, CS, CFA etc. If you are looking for a degree program you can go for M.Com, MFC, MFA, or one of the most popular degrees MBA in Finance.
