As you are interested in Acting, I would like to say that acting is a very challenging profession and requires a lot of talent and hard work. Few qualities that a good actor should posses are, A photogenic Face, good looks, good height, attractive voice, an appealing attitude etc.
Also I would advice you to get a portfolio done and submit it in various Fashion houses, AD agencies and Modeling agencies, as AD and Modeling usually provides the platform for Acting in movies.
Few good acting institutes are

FTII
Purple Rose Academy etc.

MHU comes under Central HRD ministry and Central Hindi Directorate and is approved by the same but one can not confirm if the same is approved by the UGC or not. But then i think you can apply for the NIIT's GNIIT course.
For confirmation you may inquire about it with the NIIT if the institute accepts candidates with the qualification of MHU.
