After class 12th, if you are not interested in B.Tech, then either you can do B.Sc honors, BCA and BBA courses. All courses are good and have great demand in today's time and in future also.

Yes, he or she can apply for UPSC exam, but degree must be from valid and recognized university.

No, you will not get MANIT. Usually, for MANIT, you need to score 170+ to get any decent branches.

I appreciate you firstly & yes, you can do B.Tech in any branch through distance mode education. For that, you will have to fill form any particular university provide distance B.Tech courses. Some universities are Karnataka Open State University, Jaipur University, etc.

Employers may not give you the preference. These universities also won't be having a good number of company tie-ups compared to a-grade universities, this will limit you to developing your network. So in terms of ROI, it can be risk. However, if you want to go abroad just for the sake and earn a degree you can do so.
